Removal and Installation

ECM:

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER [82774]

NOTE:
- Wipe water off on the ECM cover and the circumference.
- Operation should be done indoors where it has no rain.
- Do not put any water into the inside of the engine control computer (connector part, screw part, etc).

a. Remove the 3 bolts and ECM cover.

2. REMOVE ECM [89661]
a. Remove the 2 nuts.
b. Disconnect the connector and remove the ECM.

3. INSTALL ECM [89661]

NOTE:
- "Operation when exchanging ECM" is necessary when the ECM is replaced.
- Check that there is no trash and foreign objects stuck in the ECM box side (adhesive side).

a. Connect the connector and install the ECM with 2 nuts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER [82774]
a. Install the ECM cover with the 3 bolts.
