Introduction
Due to the mid-year changes of the SRS airbag system on the 2002 model year SC 430, some pages of the Electrical Wiring Diagram have been modified. When diagnosing vehicles produced from the starting VIN listed below, utilize the following amended Electrical Wiring Diagram.
The SRS airbag system has the added function of detecting the presence of a passenger seated in the vehicle, through an occupant detection sensor. The illustrations show the circuit between the airbag sensor assembly and the occupant detection sensor.
Refer to your Technical Information System (TIS) for the complete updated 2002 SC 430 Electrical Wiring Diagram.
