COMPONENTS

1. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH [67920]
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH [62316B]
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1 [55402D]
4. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY [46200]
(a) Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the parking brake release cable sub-assembly.

(e) Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, pull out the parking brake cable and remove the parking brake control pedal assembly.
5. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY [46209]
6. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY [84550B]
(a) Remove the screw and parking brake switch.
7. REMOVE PARKING PEDAL PAD [46252]
8. INSTALL PARKING PEDAL PAD [46252]
9. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY [84550B]
(a) Install parking brake switch and screw.
10. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE RELEASE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY [46209]

11. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY [46200]
(a) Install the parking brake cable to the parking brake control pedal assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.
Torque: 19.1 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
(b) Install the clip for the parking brake cable.
(c) Temporarily tighten the adjusting nut and lock nut.
(d) Install the parking brake release cable with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.)
(e) Connect the parking brake switch connector.
12. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
13. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE
14. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
(a) Install the rear wheel with the 5 nuts.
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
(b) Install the ornament with the 10 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft. lbs.)
15. CHECK PARKING BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL
16. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL
