Removable Roof Auxiliary Catch Assy RH:
OVERHAUL
1. MOVE ROOF PANEL TO HALF
a. Referring to the manual operation procedures, move the roof panel to half-open.
2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
3. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front door opening trim cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH
6. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
7. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
8. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the visor bracket cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
9. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER LH
10. REMOVE RH VISOR ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 screws and visor.
11. REMOVE LH VISOR ASSEMBLY
12. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER
a. Remove the holder of the sun visor by turning it to the left.
13. REMOVE MAP LAMP ASSEMBLY
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the courtesy lens.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 2 screws and map lamp assembly.
14. REMOVE ROOF FRONT CORNER HEADLINING RH
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips, then remove the roof front corner headlining RH.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
15. REMOVE ROOF FRONT CORNER HEADLINING LH
16. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
b. Remove the roof headlining assembly by taking it out in the vehicle's rear direction.
17. REMOVE REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH ASSEMBLY RH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Using a torx socket, remove the 2 screws.

c. Remove the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly RH.
18. REMOVE SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH
a. Remove the 2 screws and slide roof limit switch.
19. INSTALL SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH
20. INSTALL REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH ASSEMBLY RH
a. Using a torx socket, install the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly RH with 2 screws temporarily.

21. ADJUST REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH ASSEMBLY RH
a. Let the roof close of its own weight from the half-open position.
b. Measure the retract amount of the roof lock.
1. Let the roof close of its own weight from the half-open position and measure the distance (A) between the front header and roof panel at the point where the roof stops without locking.
HINT:
- Measure the retract amount without contact with the roof panel.
- Mark the point at which the measurement was performed.
2. From the position in step (b)-(1), lock the roof and measure the distance (B) between the front header and roof panel.
HINT: Measure at the same point as in step (b)-(1).
C (Retract amount of roof lock) = A - B
c. Adjust removable roof auxiliary catch assembly RH.
1. Using a torx socket, adjust the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly RH to make C (retract amount of the roof lock) satisfy the standard.
Torx socket (T30): 09042-00010
Standard value: C = 3.5 ± 1 mm (0.14 ± 0.04 in.)
HINT: If C (retract amount of the roof lock) is outside the standard, adjust by turning the adjusting screw.
d. Using a torx socket, completely install the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly RH with 2 screws.
Torx socket (T30): 09042-00010
Torque: 22 N.m (224 kgf cm, 16 ft.lbf)
