Luggage Compartment Door Lock Assembly

Luggage Compartment Door Lock Assy:

REPLACEMENT




1. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear floor finish plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT




4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips
b. Remove the luggage compartment trim cover RH.

5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
6. REMOVE TOOL BOX COVER




7. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 luggage hold belt strikers.




8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.
b. Remove the luggage compartment trim cover sub-assembly rear.




9. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 nuts and luggage control cable bracket LH.
b. Remove the clip, then disconnect the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.




10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 nuts.
b. Remove the lock, lift it upward, move the hinge to the position where the door is in the full open condition from the front, and disconnect the luggage opener cable.

HINT: Be careful not to pull up the cable forcibly.

c. Remove the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
12. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

13. INSTALL LUGGAGE CONTROL CABLE BRACKET LH

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

14. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR
15. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY
16. INSTALL TOOL BOX COVER
17. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
18. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH
19. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
20. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
21. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
