DTC B2611 TELESCOPIC POSITION SENSOR OR TELESCOPIC MOTOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

Detection Item:

Telescopic motor is operated by the power voltage supplied from multiplex tilt & telescopic ECU and makes the steering column slide forward and rearward. Telescopic position sensor (Hole IC) in the multiplex tilt & telescopic ECU detects the sliding position of the forward and rearward direction of the steering column and outputs the signal to the CPU in response to that sliding amount.

HINT: Limit positions can be confirmed on the screen of the LEXUS hand-held tester.
