STEERING WHEEL DIFFICULT TO RELEASE FROM FULL DOWN POSITION
Models:
'02 ES 300

Introduction
Some customers may complain that the steering wheel will not return to the up position after the tilt lever is moved to the release position. This condition usually occurs after the steering wheel has been previously tilted to the full down position. The wiring harness running directly below the tilt lock mechanism is being pressed by the plastic lower column cover and preventing the release movement of the tilt lock.
