Introduction





The Airbag Deployment Wire Sub-Harness No. 8 is used for the deployment of airbags in vehicles that are to be dismantled or scrapped for salvage. Airbags contain propellants which must be discharged before disposal for safety and hazardous material reasons. Wire B and Wire C of the Airbag Deployment Sub-Harness No. 8 are consumable, as these connectors will melt during deployment. A new Wire B or Wire C is required for each airbag deployed.

^ 2002 model year ES 300 vehicles.
^ 2002 model year SC 430 vehicles.
