FRONT DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR IMPROVEMENT

Certain ES 300 vehicle's front door power window regulators may deform after use. Replace the window regulator with new service parts as indicated in this Bulletin.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
2002 - 2003 model year ES 300 vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

Replace front door window regulator. To find the procedures for front door window regulator replacement and system initialization, refer to ETAS 2002 or 2003 ES300 Repair Manual:

Section: Engine Hood/Door, Subsection: Front door.

To find power window function checks, refer to ETAS 2002 or 2003 ES300 Repair Manual:

Section: Windshield/Window Glass/Mirror, Subsection: Power Window Control System.

NOTE:
Ensure that the regulator attaching screws are torqued to the door at the specification indicated in the figure above.
