ROOF HEADLINING ASSYREPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSY
5. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER REAR
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY LOWER
7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
8. REMOVE RR CONSOLE BOX
9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
12. REMOVE AIR DUCT REAR NO.1
13. REMOVE AIR DUCT REAR NO.2
14. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX DUCT NO.1
15. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT ASSY
16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the front door scuff plate.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
17. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
18. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear door scuff plate.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
19. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
20. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
21. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
22. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
23. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
24. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH
a. Pull the center pillar lower garnish upward to remove it.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
25. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER LH
26. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt flower anchor.
c. Remove the 2 screws.
d. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar upper garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
e. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
27. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH
28. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
a. Push the pin portion of roof side garnish inner, then pull and release the clip.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side garnish inner.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
29. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH
30. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
a. Push the pin portion of front pillar garnish, then pull and release the clip.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
d. Protect the curtain shield airbag.
NOTE: Cover the curtain shield airbag with the protection cover as soon as the front pillar garnish is removed.
1. Cover the airbag with cloth or nylon of 700 mm x 120 mm and fix the ends of the cover with tape, as shown in the illustration.
e. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
31. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
32. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSY
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the assist grip cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.
33. REMOVE RH VISOR ASSY
a. Using a moulding remover, remove the visor bracket cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.
34. REMOVE LH VISOR ASSY
35. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSY
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof console box then disconnect the connector.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
36. REMOVE ROOM LAMP ASSY NO.1
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the lens.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the room lamp assembly No.1 then disconnect the connector.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
37. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER RH
a. Remove the holder of the sun visor by turning it to the left.
38. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER LH
39. REMOVE VANITY LAMP ASSY
a. Using a moulding remover, remove the vanity lamp assembly then disconnect the connector.
40. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSY
a. Remove the inner rear view mirror cover.
b. Tear off the tape on the adhered part of the wire harness.
c. Remove the headlining assembly from the passenger's door.
41. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSY
a. Align the markings then install the wire harness with tape.
HINT: Be careful for dirt or foreign objects not to stick to the adhered part when peeling the double-stick tape.
b. Attach the roof wire harness across the adhered part
NOTE: Roof wire harness should be attached securely.
42. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
a. Install the new clip on the front pillar.
b. Install the front pillar garnish.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
43. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
44. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
a. Install the new clip on the rear pillar.
b. Install the roof side garnish inner.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
45. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
46. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSY
47. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY
48. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
