New front brake pads are available to reduce the possibility of front brake groan/squeak noise.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES: 2001 model year LS430 vehicles.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Resurface the front brake disc rotor.
2. Install the counter measure brake pad kit.







NOTE:
The counter measure pads must be installed in the correct direction. The "J" cut (large chamfer side) on all of the brake pads should be facing down.
