DOOR MIRROR WIND NOISE REDUCTION


To reduce wind noise at the door mirror, the length of the foam fitted to the door mirror base has been extended. In addition, the electrical taping area has been extended. The following field fix procedure has been developed for 2001 model year LS430 vehicles built before the production change.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES: 2001 model year LS430 vehicles.

Field Fix Method







Fit a piece of closed cell foam (EPT Sealer) to the door mirror base as shown.







Wind additional electrical tape around the wiring harness as shown.

NOTE:
After installing the door mirror, confirm the electrical tape is not coming off and is not floating.
