Introduction
Caution should be used when raising and lowering the optional rear door sunshade on the 2001 model year LS 430 during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS). If the rear door sunshade is used while the protective film on the rear door trim is present, the front part of the sunshade will fold when retracted.

Applicable Vehicles
^ 2001 model year LS 430 vehicles.

Repair Procedure





Pull the upper front portion of the protective film (as shown), so that it will not contact the front end of the rear door sunshade. This will prevent the rear door sunshade from folding when retracted.
