Brake Warning Indicator: Description and Operation

Brake Warning Light
The BRAKE warning light lights up when the brake fluid is insufficient, parking brake is applied or the EBD is defective.


ABS Warning Light
If the ECU detects trouble, the ABS warning light lights up and ABS control is prohibited at the same time. At this time, the ECU records a DTC in memory.

VSC Warning Light
If the ECU stores DTC, the VSC warning light lights on the combination meter.


SLIP Indicator Light
The SLIP indicator light blinks during TRAC & VSC operation.


VSC OFF Indicator Light
When the center differential is locked, VSC control goes off and the VSC OFF indicator lights up. Also, light the VSC OFF indicator light is "ON" when the VSC system is at the fail safe control.
