Headliner: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION
2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE SCUFF PLATES
4. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE SCUFF PLATES
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISHES
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIMS
7. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIMS
8. REMOVE REAR PERSONAL LIGHTS
9. REMOVE ASSIST GRIPS
10. REMOVE SUN VISORS
11. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER
12. REMOVE MAP LAMP ASSEMBLY
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the lens and cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 4 screws and map lamp assembly.
c. Disconnect the connectors.
13. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, open the cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the bolt.
c. Remove the front pillar garnish and cover.
d. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
14. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar lower garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
15. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar upper garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
16. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side inner garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 3 screws and roof side inner garnish spacer.
c. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
17. REMOVE HOLDERS
Remove the 2 screws and 2 holders.
18. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING
a. w/ Sliding roof:
Remove the opening trim.
b. Release the 3 clips and fastener tapes to remove the roof headlining.
c. Remove the 6 screws and 2 side rail spacers.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING
a. Install the 2 side rail spacers with the 6 screws.
b. Slide the roof headlining rearward to connect the hook to the body.
c. Fasten the fastener tape and install the 3 clips to the body.
2. INSTALL HOLDERS
Install the 2 holders with the 2 screws.
3. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
a. Install the roof side inner garnish spacer with the 3 screws.
b. Install the roof side inner garnish as shown in the illustration.
c. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
4. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH
a. Install center pillar upper garnish with the 2 screws.
b. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
5. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH
a. Install the center pillar lower garnish as shown in the illustration.
b. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
6. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH
a. Install the front pillar garnish and cover.
b. Install the bolt.
Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
c. Close the cover.
d. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
7. INSTALL MAP LAMP ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the connectors.
b. Install the map lamp assembly with the 4 screws.
c. Install the lens and cover.
8. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER
9. INSTALL SUN VISORS
10. INSTALL ASSIST GRIPS
11. INSTALL REAR PERSONAL LIGHTS
12. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIMS
13. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIMS
14. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISHES
15. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE SCUFF PLATES
16. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE SCUFF PLATES
17. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK
