Roof Drip Side Finish Moulding

Roof Drip Side Finish Moulding:




REMOVAL

1. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. Rear door scuff plate
b. Opening trim
c. Rear seat side garnish




2. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
a. Remove the rear seat headrest.
b. Remove the root side inner garnish.

3. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH PAD




4. REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING

a. Remove the 3 nuts.




b. Using a drill of less than 5.0 mm (0.20 in.), drill out the rivet heads as shown in the illustration.

CAUTION: The cut rivet and rivet cutter will be hot, avoid touching them.

NOTE:
- Do not jiggle the rivet cutter while cutting.
- You may enlarge the rivet hole or damage the rivet cutter

HINT: Do not drill the body.




c. Remove the clips and the roof drip side finish moulding.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING
a. Install the roof drip side finish moulding with the clips.
b. Using an air riveter with nose piece, strike rivets.






NOTE: If the rivets is not positioned perpendicularly it will bend the mandrel. When the trigger is then pulled, it may damage SST.




c. Install the 3 nuts.

2. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH PAD




3. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
a. Install the roof side inner garnish.
b. Install the rear seat headrest.
