NOTE: Before replacing or removing the part, turn the ignition switch OFF.

HINT:
- Using SST 09843-18020 or 09843-18040, connect terminals Tc and E1 of the DLC1 or terminals Tc and CG of the DLC3, and remove the short pin.
- If no abnormality is found when inspecting parts, inspect the ECU.
- If a malfunction code is displayed during the DTC check, check the circuit listed by code. For details of each code, refer to the respective "DTC No." in the DTC chart.


*1, *2: These DTC will not affect to cancel the ABS warning light by repairing the trouble area, so perform the following operations.

- *1.
1. Drive the vehicle at 20 km/h (12 mph) for 30 seconds or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
2. Clear the DTC.

- *2.
1. Keep the vehicle in the stationary condition for 5 seconds or more and depress the brake pedal lightly 2 or 3 times.
2. Driving the vehicle at the vehicle speed 50 km/h (31 mph) and keep depressing the brake pedal strongly for about 3 seconds.
3. Repeat the above operation 3 times or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
4. Clear the DTC.

HINT: There is a case that LEXUS hand-held tester cannot be used when the ABS warning light is always on.
