Removal and Installation

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER
2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR
4. DISCONNECT ACCELERATOR CABLE FROM THROTTLE BODY

5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY




a. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.
b. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
c. Disconnect the throttle control motor connector.
d. Disconnect the No.1 water bypass hose.
e. Disconnect the No.7 water bypass hose.
f. Disconnect the 2 wire clamps from the throttle body.
g. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, throttle body and gasket.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kg.cm, 13 ft.lb)

HINT: At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Use a new gasket.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
