Introduction
This is to inform you of the exterior part colors on the 2000 model year and the 1999 RX 300 Lexus vehicles.

Applicable Vehicles
- All 2000 model year Lexus
- 1999 RX 300 Lexus

Painting Method
LS 400, GS 400/300, ES 300, LX 470, RX 300





The cladding panels and the bottom of the front and rear bumpers are painted with a different color than the body color to achieve a two-tone appearance.

SC 400/300
There is no cladding on these vehicles. The color is the same as the outer panels and exterior parts.

Repair Precaution
Heat deformation of the cladding panels occurs more easily than with bumpers. Precaution Therefore, please observe the following precautions:

1. Hold the cladding panels firmly in place and keep the drying temperature below 50°C (122°F).

2. Since the cladding panels and bumpers are made of plastic resin, use a two-component urethane paint with plasticizer.
