Parking Brake Pedal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE NO. 1 LOWER PANEL AND LOWER LH PANEL
2. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH CONNECTOR
3. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE WIRE
a. Release parking brake pedal.
b. Remove the clip and disconnect the parking brake wire.
4. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 nuts and parking brake pedal assembly.
Torque: 36 Nm (370 kgf-cm, 27 ft. lbs.)
5. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH
Remove the screw and parking brake switch.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT: After installation, check and adjust parking brake pedal.
