ABS and VSC Actuator






REMOVAL
1. REMOVE RIGHT FRONT FENDER LINER
2. REMOVE A/C TUBE CLAMP BRACKET BOLT





3. DISCONNECT BRAKE LINE
a. Using SST, disconnect the 6 brake lines from the brake actuator.
SST 09023-00100
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.)
b. Disconnect the brake hose from the brake actuator.





4. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the 4 connectors from the brake actuator.
b. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and brake actuator assembly.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
5. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR
a. Remove the 2 nuts and actuator from the actuator bracket.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 ft. lbs.)
b. Remove the 2 holders and 3 cushions from the brake actuator.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT:
^ After installation, fill brake reservoir with brake fluid and breed the brake system.
^ Check for fluid leaks.
