Headliner: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. REMOVE FRONT SEATS
Torque: 37 N.m (375 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT LOWER SIDE BOLTS
Torque: 42 N.m (430 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK
Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF INSIDE PLATES
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT SHOULDER ANCHOR BOLTS
Torque: 42 N.m (430 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
7. REMOVE SUN VISORS AND HOLDERS
8. REMOVE ASSIST GRIPS
9. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
a. Remove the clip.
b. Using a screwdriver, pry loose and remove the garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH
a. Remove the clip.
b. Pry loose and remove the garnish.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
11. REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, pry oft the garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
12. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH
a. Pry out clips by your hand.
b. Pull the garnish upward to remove it.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
13. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH
a. Remove the clip.
b. Pry oft the garnish.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
14. REMOVE ROOM LIGHT
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the room light lens.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 4 screws, then disconnect the connector.
15. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the lens.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Open the glasses case.
c. Remove the 3 screws and roof console box, then disconnect the connectors.
16. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING
a. Disconnect the 3 clips from the roof panel rear end.
b. Remove the headlining.
c. Bring out the headlining.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
