DETECTING CONDITIONS

Fail safe function:
If trouble occurs in the deceleration sensor circuit, the ECU prohibits BA & TRAC & VSC controls.










INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: Start the inspection from step 1 in case of using the LEXUS hand-held tester and start from step 2 in case of not using the LEXUS hand-held tester.

NOTE: Do not remove the sensor from the bracket. When replacing deceleration sensor, replace the sensor with it assembled to the bracket assembly.
