Installation

NOTICE:
If the wiring connector of the SRS is disconnected and the ignition switch is at ON or ACC position, DTCs will be recorded.
Never use the airbag parts from another vehicle. When replacing parts, replace with new parts.

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
Install the 2 nuts and the 3 bolts.

Torque: 21 Nm (210 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)

NOTICE:
- Make sure the front passenger airbag assembly is installed to the specified torque.
- If the front passenger airbag assembly has been dropped, or there are cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the front passenger airbag assembly with a new one.
- When installing the front passenger airbag assembly, take care that the wiring does not interfere with other parts and is not pinched between other parts.

2. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK MOUNTING BRACKET.
3. INSTALL NO. 4 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT.
4. INSTALL LOWER FINISH PANEL RH.
5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT ASSEMBLY.
6. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER.






7. CONNECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG CONNECTOR
a. Connect the airbag connector
b. Install the connector to the glove compartment door finish plate.






c. Install the glove compartment door finish plate to the glove compartment.
