Traction Control Indicator Lamp: Description and Operation

TRAC Off Indicator
This is the TRAC control main switch. When the TRAC cut switch is pushed on, TRAC control goes off and the TRAC OFF indicator lights up. This indicator blinks for warnings when the trouble occurs and for displaying DTC.

SLIP Indicator
The SLIP indicator blinks during TRAC operation.

VSC Vehicle Skid Control
This is the TRAC & VSC control main switch. When the VSC OFF switch is pushed on, TRAC & VSC control goes off and the VSC OFF indicator lights up. Also, light the VSC OFF indicator light is "ON" when the VSC system is at the fail safe control. Turn the ignition switch OFF, TRAC & VSC control surely comes on when the ignition switch turns ON next time.

If the ECU stores DTC, the VSC warning light lights on the combination meter.
