Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE EVAPORATOR




2. REMOVE EXPANSION VALVE

a. Remove the packing.
b. Loosen the 2 nuts and remove the expansion valve from the tubes.
Torque:
19 mm nut: 14 Nm (140 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)
24 mm nut: 22 Nm (225 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)

HINT: At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Lubricate 2 new O-rings with compressor oil and install them to the tubes.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal
