ABS and TRAC Actuator

REMOVAL





1. DISCONNECT BRAKE LINES
Using SST, disconnect the 7 brake lines from the ABS & TRAC, actuator.
SST 09023 - 00100
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf.cm, 11 ft. lbs.)
2. DISCONNECT 2 BRAKE HOSES
3. REMOVE ABS & TRAC ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
b. Remove the bolt, 3 nuts and ABS & TRAC actuator assembly.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf.cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
4. REMOVE ABS & TRAC ACTUATOR
a. Remove the 2 nuts and ABS & TRAC actuator.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.-Lbs.)
b. Remove the 2 cushion bolts and 3 cushions.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT:
^ After installation, fill brake reservoir with brake fluid, bleed brake system.
^ Check for leaks.
