Operation Procedure

The following steps show the user how to access the "FUNCTION SELECT" screen for customizing.

1. Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder and turn to the ON position.





2. Connect the LEXUS Diagnostic Tester to DLC3 and press the ON key.





3. From "TOYOTA DIAGNOSTIC TOOLSET" (Screen A), press the ENTER key.





4. From "MAIN MENU" (Screen B), select [1: CUSTOMIZE].





5. Verify the correct cable has been connected to the vehicle and press the YES key.





6. Press the ENTER key to proceed.

NOTE:
Before changing any customize item, be sure to record the current value.





7. From "FUNCTION SELECT" menu (Screen E), select the desired function to be customized.

NOTE:
Please ensure that all changes are recorded in the Lexus National Service History Database as per Step 2 (Service Procedure).

The illustrated tables describes which customize functions and items are available on the Customize Program Card.





IMPORTANT:
The Scan Tool displays a list of items under each function. Customize Software is used for worldwide markets. The items in the illustration, although displayed on the Scantool Menu, are NOT supported on North American Vehicles.
