Removal





NOTE:
- If the wiring connector of the SRS is disconnected and the ignition switch is in ON or ACC position, DTCs will be recorded.
- Never use the airbag parts from another vehicle. When replacing parts, replace them with new parts.






1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT
a. Remove the 2 seat track covers and 4 bolts.
b. Disconnect the side airbag connector.

NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

c. Remove the front seat.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the body.

2. REMOVE HEADREST






3. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD

Remove the front seatback board, "A", "B" and "C" in order as shown in the illustration.






4. REMOVE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the hog rings and disengage the hooks.
b. Disengage the 3 clips of the side airbag wire harness from the seat cushion frame.
c. Remove the 4 bolts and seatback assembly.

5. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER (W/ PAD)
a. Remove the hog rings.






b. Disengage the seat cover hooks from the seatback frame.






c. Disengage the hook from the seatback frame.
d. Remove the 2 headrest supports.
e. Remove the seatback cover (w/pad).
