Resistance/Operation Inspection

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER
2. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP COVER AND AIR CLEANER INLET
3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR
4. INSPECT INJECTOR RESISTANCE
(a) Disconnect the 8 injector connectors.





(b) Using a ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Resistance: 13.4 - 14.2 Ohms at 20°C (68°F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the injector.
(c) Reconnect the 8 injector connectors.
5. REINSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR
6. REINSTALL BATTERY CLAMP COVER AND AIR CLEANER INLET
7. REINSTALL V-BANK COVER
