Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1, 2 Sesnor 1)

INSPECTION

INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS (BANK 1,2 SENSOR 1)
(a) Disconnect the oxygen sensor connectors.





(b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT.

Resistance: 11 - 16 Ohms at 20°C (68°F)

If the resistance is not as specified,. replace the sensor.
(c) Reconnect the oxygen sensor connectors.
