Wiper Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. INSPECT WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY





WIPER OFF





WIPER INT





WIPER LO





WIPER HI





WASHER
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.





2. INSPECT WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH RESISTANCE
Inspect the switch resistance between terminals.
If resistance value is not as specified, replace the switch.








3. INSPECT SWITCH CIRCUIT
Disconnect the switch and wiper relay connector, inspect each connector on the wire harness side, a shown.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
