Seat Temperature Switch: Testing and Inspection
SEAT HEATER SWITCH INSPECTION1. INSPECT SWITCH CONTINUITY
SC400 and SC300 A/T Models
SC300 M/T Models
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.
2. INSPECT SWITCH INDICATOR
SC400 and SC300 A/T Models
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 7 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 8.
(b) Push the switch, check that the indicator light lights up.
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
SC300 M/T Models
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 5 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.
(b) Push the switch, check that the indicator light lights up.
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
3. INSPECT SWITCH CIRCUIT
Disconnect the switch connector and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
