INTRODUCTION

Beginning with January 1997 production of the Lexus SC 300 and SC 400, a new style wheel has been introduced requiring the use of a new wheel lock, P/N 00276-00901. The previous wheel lock, P/N 00276-30940, can not be used on the new wheel and the new wheel lock can not be used on the previous style wheel.

- SC 300 and SC 400 produced from January 1997.





PARTS INFORMATION





Effective as of January 1997, Wheel Lock part number 00276-00901 must be used on new wheels for the Lexus SC 300 and SC 400. The new wheel can be identified by production date and/or having a wheel center cap that covers only the hub and leaves the lug nuts exposed as shown in the illustrations.
