TROUBLESHOOTING
The table above will be useful for you in troubleshooting these electrical problems. The most likely causes of the malfunction are shown in the order of their probability. Inspect each part in the order shown and replace the part when it is found to be faulty.

COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION








1. INSPECT FOG LIGHT SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.





2. INSPECT SWITCH CIRCUIT
(a) Pull the spool body forward and separate spool body from steering column.
(b) Connect the wire harness side connector to the combination switch and inspect the wire harness side connect or from the back side, as shown.





Fog Light Switch Circuit
If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.

FOG LIGHT RELAY INSPECTION








1. INSPECT RELAY CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.








2. INSPECT RELAY CIRCUIT
Remove the relay from the relay block and inspect the connector on the relay block side as shown.
