Assembly

1. Place the drive and driven rotors into oil pump body with the mark facing upward.





2. Install the pump body cover with the 10 screws, tighten to 10 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).
3. Carefully mount the pump body in a soft jaw vise.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the pump body.





4. Insert the relief valve and compression spring into the oil pump body hole.
5. Install the plug with a new gasket, tighten to 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).
