Power Window Switch (Passenger)

POWER WINDOW SWITCH INSPECTION








1. INSPECT FRONT PASSENGER'S DOOR SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch. If continuity is as specified, inspect the switch circuit.





2. INSPECT REAR DOOR SWITCH CONTINUITY
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch. If continuity is as specified, inspect the switch circuit.

3. INSPECT SWITCH CIRCUIT








Front Passenger's Door
Disconnect the connector from the front passenger door ECU and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If the circuit is not as specified, replace the wire harness.








Rear Door
Disconnect the connector from the power window switch and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.

If the circuit is not as specified. inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
