PPS ECU Inspection

NOTICE:
^ When jacking or lifting up vehicles which have air suspension and running the engine, connect terminals Td and E1, of DLC 2 before starting the operation.
^ When replacing PPS ECU, be careful not to also replace tilt and telescopic ECU.

1. Jack up vehicle and support it on stands.
2. Start engine.





3. Measure voltage of ECU.
a. Using a voltmeter, measure the voltage between ECU terminals SOL negative and GND while the engine is idling.
Standard voltage: 0.33 - 0.43 V





b. Place the transmission in gear and while running at about 62 MPH (100 km/h), measure the voltage between ECU terminals SOL negative and GND.
Standard voltage: 0.13 - 0.26 V
c. If no voltage, try another ECU.
