Side Air Bags

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
By connecting terminals Tc and E1 of the DLC1 the side airbag sensor assembly is set in the DTC output mode. The DTCs are displayed by the blinking of the SRS side airbag warning light.

INSPECTION PROCEDURES

HINT: If the DTC is not displayed, do the following troubleshooting.




1. Does SRS Side Airbag Warning Light Light Up For Approx.6 Seconds?




2. Check Voltage Between Terminals Tc E1 Of DLC1




3. Check Voltage Between Terminals Tc Of DLC1 And Body Ground




4. Check Side Airbag Sensor Assembly





HINT: If the DTC is displayed without a DTC check procedure, do the following troubleshooting

1. Check Resistance Between Terminal Tc Of Side Airbag Sensor Assembly And Body Ground
