HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT
Adjusting headlight aim only
1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT AIM
Do the followings before inspection.
- Make sure the body around the headlight is not deformed.
- Park the vehicle on a level spot.
- The driver gets into the driver's seat and puts the vehicle in a state ready for driving (with a full tank).
- Bounce the vehicle several times.
2. ADJUST HEADLIGHT IN VERTICAL ALIGNMENT
If the bubble is outside the acceptable range of the beam angle gauge, adjust it using adjusting screw A.
3. ADJUST HEADLIGHT IN HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT
a. Check that the cogwheel A is in LOCK position.
HINT: If the cogwheel A is not in LOCK position, adjust the headlight (refer to "Replacing headlight", steps 2 to 4).
Service and Repair
b. If the V groove is not within the acceptable range. align the V groove to the "O" mark using the cogwheel B.
