DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE SWITCH INSPECTION





INSPECT SWITCH CONTINUITY
a. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 2 when door outside handle is pulled.
b. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 2 when door outside handle is released.
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.

COURTESY SWITCH INSPECTION





1. INSPECT SWITCH CONTINUITY
a. Connect the connector to the driver door ECU.
b. Check that there is continuity between terminals 3 and 6 when door is opened.
c. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 3 and 6 when door is closed.
If continuity is not as specified. replace the switch.
If continuity is as specified. inspect the switch circuit.

2. INSPECT SWITCH CIRCUIT








Driver's door:
Disconnect the connector from the driver's ECU and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If the circuit is not as specified, replace the wire harness.








Passenger's door:
Disconnect the connector from the front passenger's door ECU and inspect the connector on wire harness side, as shown.
If the circuit is not as specified, replace the wire harness.








Rear door:
Disconnect the connector from the body ECU and inspect the connector on wire harness side, as shown.
If the circuit is not as specified, replace the wire harness.FRONT

FRONT PERSONAL LIGHT INSPECTION








1. INSPECT SWITCH CONTINUITY








2. INSPECT CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the switch and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If circuit is not as specified. inspect the power source or wire harness.

REAR PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

Rear Room Light:








1. INSPECT REAR ROOM LIGHT CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace bulb or rear personal light assembly.

Rear Door Courtesy Light:





2. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT CONTINUITY
Using the ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals.
If continuity is not as specified. replace the bulb or rear personal light assembly.

Rear Room Light:








3. INSPECT CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the light and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If circuit is not as specified, inspect the power source or wire harness.

Rear Door Courtesy Light:








4. INSPECT CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the light and inspect the connector on the wire harness. as shown.
If circuit is not as specified. inspect the power source or wire harness.

VANITY LIGHT INSPECTION








1. INSPECT SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb or vanity light.








2. INSPECT SWITCH CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the switch and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If circuit is not as specified. inspect the power source or wire harness.

LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH INSPECTION








INSPECT SWITCH CONTINUITY
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
