Spark Plug Tube Seal - Valve Cover: Service and Repair

1. Bend the ventilation case claw installed on the cylinder head cover to an angle of 90�° or more.
2. Using handle Special Service Tool (SST) No. 09950-70010, adapter SST No. 09952-06010 and replacer discs 24 and 48 from replacer set SST No. 09950-60010, or equivalent, and a suitable hammer, tap out the gasket.






3. Using handle SST No. 09950-70010, adapter SST No. 09952-06010 and replacer discs 24 and 48 from replacer set SST No. 09950-60010, or equivalent, and a suitable hammer, tap in a new gasket until its surface is flush with the upper edge of the cylinder head cover.

NOTE: Be careful of the installation direction.

4. Apply a light coat of MP grease to the gasket lip.
5. Return the ventilation case claw to its original position.
