Removal

1. Remove the front right hand fender apron seal after removing the two bolts.
2. Disconnect the return hose.

NOTE: Take care not to spill fluid on the drive belt.

3. Disconnect the pressure feed tube after doing these procedures.
a. Remove the two clamp plate set nuts.
b. Remove the bolt.
c. Remove the two clamp plates and the two holders from the tube.





d. Using the 09631-22020 Special Service Tool (SST), disconnect the tube.





4. Remove the drive belt after loosening the two (A and B) bolts.
5. Remove the power steering vane pump assembly with pressure feed tube by performing the following.
a. Disconnect the connector from the oil pressure switch.
b. Loosen bolt A sufficiently so that pump assembly can be removed.
NOTE: Bolt A cannot be removed.

6. Remove the pressure feed tube, performing the following.
a. Remove the oil pressure switch from the union bolt.
b. Remove the union bolt and gasket.
