Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Testing and Inspection

Proportioning Valve Inspection:

1. Install LSPV gauge (SST) and bleed air. SST 09709-29017
2. Bleed air from fluid pressure gauge.

Master Cylinder And Rear Wheel Cylinder Or Caliper Fluid Pressure.:

3. Raise Master Cylinder pressure and check rear wheel cylinder or caliper pressure.
If the Rear Brake Cylinder pressure is incorrect, replace the valve assembly.
4. Bleed brake system. Brake Bleeding
5. Check for leaks.
