Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch and motor.




2. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MOTOR OPERATION
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to Body ground, check that the motor operates.
If operation is not as specified, replace the switch and motor.







3. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH AND OPENER MOTOR CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the switch and opener motor, inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.
If the circuit is not as specified, inspect power source or wire harness.

4. INSPECT ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM
(integration relay circuit)
