1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheels.
2. Remove the fender liner or fender splash shield, engine undercover and front wheel opening molding. Refer to Figs. 19 and 20 for exploded views.
3. Remove windshield washer fluid reservoir and move away from body, then disconnect speed sensor from steering knuckle.
4. Remove three bolts and disconnect speed sensor electrical harness clamps.
5. Remove cotter pin and nut from upper suspension arm ball joint, then disconnect upper suspension arm from ball joint using ball joint puller 09628-62011, or equivalent.
6. Remove through bolt and nut, then the upper suspension arm.
7. Inspect ball joint.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Prior to completely tightening upper suspension arm bolt, stabilize suspension by installing wheels and bouncing vehicle up and down several times then tighten upper suspension arm bolt.
