1. Turn tensioner counterclockwise, then remove drive belt.
2. Drain power steering fluid, then, using suitable spanner, hold pressure port union and remove union bolt and gasket, Figs. 45 and 46.
3. Remove pressure feed tube. Use care to avoid spilling fluid on A/C compressor rotor.
4. Remove pump bolts, then the pump.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque power steering pump bolts in sequence, Fig. 47, to 29 ft. lb.
b. When connecting pressure tube, ensure stopper is touching pump housing as shown in Figs. 48 and 49, then tighten union bolt to specifications.
c. Bleed power steering system.
