Removal and Installation

1. Disarm SRS as described under "Air Bag Disarming & Arming.
2. Remove undercover located beneath glove compartment, Fig. 11.

3. Remove glove compartment door finish plate and screws from wiring harness connectors, then disconnect air bag connector.
4. Remove glove compartment door and lock mounting bracket.
5. Remove air bag mounting screws, nuts and bolt.
6. Carefully remove air bag unit. Store air bag with pad facing upward.
7. Reverse procedure to install, tighten screws, nuts and bolts to specifications, then arm air bag system/SRS as described under "Air Bag Disarming & Arming.
