Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. On models with TRAC, drain high-pressure fluid.
2. Disconnect fluid level warning switch connector, Figs. 2 through 4..
3. Draw fluid out of reservoir with syringe.
4. Remove brake lines from master cylinder.
5. Remove three nuts, then the master cylinder and gasket from brake booster.

INSTALLATION
1. Install master cylinder and new gasket to brake booster using three nuts. Torque bolts to 9 ft. lb.
2. Connect brake lines to master cylinder.
3. Connect level warning switch connector.
4. On models with TRAC, install TRAC assembly.
5. Fill brake reservoir and bleed system.
6. On models with TRAC, bleed TRAC system.
7. Check for leaks, then check and adjust brake pedal as necessary.
