Injectors Removal

INJECTORS REMOVAL
1. REMOVE AIR INTAKE CHAMBER ASSEMBLY.





2. DISCONNECT FUEL IN LET HOSE FROM LH DELIVERY PIPE.
3. DISCONNECT VACUUM SENSING HOSE AND FUEL RETURN HOSE FROM PRESSURE REGULATOR.
4. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE FROM DELIVERY PIPES.
- Remove the 2 bolts holding the engine wire protector to the RH delivery pipe.
- Disconnect the 4 injector connectors.





- Disconnect these parts from the bracket on the LH delivery pipe:
(1) DLC1
(2) 2 engine wire connectors
(3) Engine wire clamp
- Disconnect the 4 injector connectors.





5. REMOVE DELIVERY PIPES AND INJECTORS.
- Remove the 4 nuts holding the delivery pipe to the intake manifold.
- Remove the 2 connector brackets, the 2 delivery pipes and 8 injector assembly, 4 spacers and 8 insulators.

NOTICE: Be careful not to drop the injectors, when removing the delivery pipe.

- Pull out the 8 injectors from the delivery pipes.
- Remove the O-ring and grommet from each injector.
